Climb for Cancer

This past weekend I did the Climb for Cancer instead of my usual Triathlon training with 1st tri. My company had a huge group turn out and I went early to help organize. I went up and down the hill at South Mountain for a total of 11 miles! I know I am getting better at distance when I am not as sore the rest of the day anymore. :) I recall when I first starting doing distance traing anything over 10 miles left me unable to walk up the stairs. Also, I did run in many people I knew coming down the road. Here is a pic of a couple Flagline alums.

Saturday night I stopped at yet another 30th Bday for Marisa! I had not been out in some time and realized I really am not missing too much (plus stayong out late interupts training!). It was a good cause though, since she is such a sweetheart.

Then Sunday Kel and I continued our tri training with a swim clinic as part of Tri for the cure. We did several drills at the beautiful DC Ranch club. It was the first time I felt I could swim on both sides!
