FBR and Superbowl

I am finding with my training certain things get put off - like updating blogs. So I thought I would at least post something since last weekend was a huge weekend here in town. Saturday I was lucky enough to have corporate passes to the FBR (Phoenix) Open. There were 170,000 people there that day. Whenever I left the corporate area, I was in a sea of people getting swallowed up. It was a great day out there, one of the these days I will take golf lessons. I meant to this spring, but tri training is taking priority.

For Sunday, no I did not get tickets for the Superbowl! I did get to have a fun time over at Kelly's to watch the game. Kelly did a great job setting up yummy food and her martha stewart side created a dessert masterpiece. I can only aspire to have that patience!

For training this week it is going much better! I had a moment the first time I went to spin class where I thought what have I got myself into? Just trying anything new you can be humbled. I have avoided up until now using cllip in shoes - and had the worst time getting used to them! Like anything, practice makes perfect. I even went out on cold, rainy Monday night to still attend swim class as well. the clouds somehow cleared right before it was time to start. Even the pool is starting to become more confortable, though my endurance needs work!

I also just started my mentorship to teach online at my college this past Tuesday! Another thing I had been planning to do, and finally took action on it. It will surely help me in my job which is why I am taking the time to teach.
