Volunteer Updates

Just a quick update – I have been changing some of the groups I work with. I have decided to step down from working with the YMCA, however that does not mean I am stepping back! I am involved this year with a committee for AZ’s Finest once again for Cystic Fibrosis– this time on the organizing side assisting those that are being honored.

Also, last year I attended a ball for the Fresh Start for Women’s Foundation – their slogan is helping women help themselves. It was on my list to talk more with – and a friend just happened to get a job there and sent out a call for volunteers. I wanted to give back the skills I have learned. I have been really lucky moving up the so called corporate ladder and wanted to perhaps give inspiration to others. I am slated right now to volunteer 4 hours a month as a career coach. I will be helping women looking for a new job, or just trying to get a job with professional skills. :)
