Holiday Parties and new road bike!

That time of year - holiday events! Last weekend I went to the Luminaries at the Desert Botanical Gardens. I went last year, and it was great but this year it was even better since there had a glass exibit as party of it - Chihuly! Really beautiful - but some of them seemed like something out of a sci-fi show! This past weekend I went to my first work holiday party - this time corporate. I find myself always being good at work parties - things can stay with you for a long time, however, this time I stayed up way too late and ended up hurting the rest of the weekend! My workouts don't go so well with little sleep! Then Sunday morning, I had my 20-30 Holiday brunch at the Scottsdale resort. Fun times!

Other fun updates - I ordered my road bike for triathlons! Trek Madone 4.5, love it but they did not have my size so I have to wait. I cannot wait to get on it. I was happy that I did not lose my skills with my clip ins as I was trying bikes!

Also, I just got invisilign! I never had braces as a kid, but still had alittle correction to do. So, I decided to get it done! Though - it is taking some getting used to. I hear that people lose weight when they have them in, and I can see why! I hate to take it out and put them back in again!
