July Updates

I know my life is too busy when I forget to update my blog! Luckily in the next couple of weeks some of my big projects will be done. The first is the Cystic Fibrosis AZ’s Finest. The final dinner is coming up, and I am so excited to say I hit my goal of raising over $10,000!! I had the last event being put on at Majerles this past weekend. Just a smaller event, low key at the restaurant, though Dan Majerle was there. I have really enjoyed being honored this year, but I will be glad to have some time back. Also, this past weekend my sister was in town. We had my little nieces 2 year old birthday party Saturday. On Sunday went up to one of her favorite places Cold Springs in Payson. I had not been there in a very long time, and I forget how easy it is to go up there. I feel a backpacking trip being planned very soon……

My work life has been extremely busy! I am in the middle of budget season, which means time spent making sure everything is ready for next year. I am flying some for work to present it and work with my counterpart in Denver of all places… Darn, I have to fly to Denver more now! Unfortunately, it seems to always work out where I have not been able to extend a weekend trip…..yet.. :) I am hoping for trips there during ski season this year. We also had graduation this past month. It is so inspiring to see people graduate college - I had an urge to get my doctorate, but that will be put off for awhile.

Since I have been really busy with work and my non-profits I must say my training is way off – however, I am planning with Kel and Jan a relay triathlon soon so I will have to get on track asap. Also, my company is likely going to have a team for the PF Changs so I cannot slack in my running anymore!
