Azs Finest Dinner

After months of fundraising and events, Azs Finest came to a close this past weekend with a dinner at the Ritz Carlton. I was actually nervous before the event – fundraising and meeting all of the people involved was great but getting on stage for some reason got to me. I am used to being in charge, creating meeting planners etc and this time I had no idea what to expect. I do not have the final total yet, but I raised over $12,000! As a group, the 19 of us raised over $270,000! It is so great to know this money will go towards helping others live. I had two tables at the event – one of work friends and the other of outside of work. Thank you to all of those that attended from UOP and also to the 20-30 girls, my mentor Beth and my parents. The big draw at the event turned out to the the silent auction – my Dad was fixated on a taser, and I on a signed picture of Madonna. I also now have the famous huge picture of my head - they place them at the event for each honoree.
