California

This past week had many new adventures! The previous Friday I was able to see David Copperfield up close. Even those I was close to the front, and you know there are tricks that distract you from really seeing what is going on his show really is amazing. Then it was off to ski in Tahoe! I love it there - always something fun to do outdoors. The skiing was rough, since it got into the 60's mornings were icey, and the ground coverage was not what it could be..and....I got to see both a black and brown bear up close. For the total package - lake, skiing, casinos - it is worth it! It wasn' t my favorite ski trip, but happy that I got the chance to get in one more run this year. The only change I would make for next year is where I stayed -those that were there know why!

From there back to work for a day, and off again for Laura's bachlorette! Another flight to California, this time San Diego. 12 girls total came out to help Laura go off in style. Beach time (which I got sunburned unfortunately!), shopping time, dancing time - we certainly had it all. We stayed on a pier in Pacific Beach, and already booked rooms for next year we had so much fun! I did have a chance to see John too - an old friend from college who now lives there (see pic). Looking back it is amazing how much we fit in 48 hours (most of which I should not write!)
