Sedona Adventure Weekend

Just got back from Sedona and Flagstaff - it was a winter wonderland! Friday started off with one of my favorite stress relievers - dancing with the girls. :) April, Jenny and I had fun dancing up in Scottsdale. I forget what it is like to go up there. Funny thing about growing up and staying in your hometown - constantly run into people I know! I saw two guys I recall from high school .They did not recognize me, but when I said my name one of them said "oh the flag girl" hehe.

So from there....up to Sedona! It was a winter wonderland! Snowed on the way up. The snow level was low - you could see it on the mountain right out side town. Most of the trails were closed, but I did get the chance to play in it. :) I had the most wonderful massage - after the marathon, starting tennis and belly dance, I was hurting! VERY relaxing..... :) Had strange weather all weekend. I woke up in Sedona to thunder Sunday- when it was snowing. Checking wikipedia apparently this is pretty rare to have. Then heading home, it snowed in Phoenix! I can only recall a few times in my life where it has snowed at my house, so it was certainly special.

A running friend send this to me - inspriational if you want to check it out.
