Annie Get Your Gun

I am working on conquering a couple of fears before my 30th b-day. I have been interested in some time on working on my shooting skills - but apprehensive in doing so. My family has a military history and my brother was recently back from Iraq after working in artilery there. This is a freqent topic at the family house! So.....I took the plunge yesterday and took a Women's Shooting Basic Class. It was great! Explained Everything I wanted to know in detail, from a womans perspective without "talking it down". There is something empowering about knowing what to do when you are around a gun, especially when from looks no one would susepct that you do. I have no plan to hunt or anything like that, but target shooting is fun. Next step is taking a class called Ladies Personal Protection.

On another note....another new interest and hobby is scuba diving! I have just started reading up in order to get certified in a couple of months. I have always been fearful of deep water that I cannot see the bottom of, which means when I go out to the lakes I never jump in. So......I figure if I can see below maybe that will help. :)
