Colorado trip!

Did I mention I love Colorado? Just got back from a 4 day trip and LOVED it! I finally made it to the Coors Brewery and discovered that I like frozen Zimas. Tour was neat to see, but they also have a “short tour” where you go straight to the lounge for free beer. Nice….It rained most of Thursday and Friday but compared to the heat here, very refreshing. Lucky for me REI was having their Anniversary sale and I just happened to be in Denver for the start of it! I didn’t do too much damage, hard to pack everything back on the plane if you buy too much. I also hit the 16th street mall to partake in some retail therapy.

On Cinco de Mayo, I did not have any Mexican food strangely enough. I did however, bar hop downtown and ended up at the Coyote Ugly. I love to dance and if you know anything about that bar….I’ll just leave it at that. :)

Saturday and Sunday headed to Rocky Mountain National Park to hike around. The Trail Ridge road is still closed but there was good hiking on the lower elevations. Absolutely Breathtaking! Went around Bear Lake area Saturday. The trail was still half in snow so hiking was slow going but super nice. Sunday I hiked as well some at a lower elevation to Cub Lake.
