The annual AZ’s Finest dinner was held this last Saturday! This year I was an advisor mentor, which meant I had 4 honoree that I assist with their fundraising events. While still a fantastic event, the economy certainly affected the group. Less was raised this year than last year when I was honored, which is sad for those suffering from CF. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to have the disease, and yet the drug companies do not fund research for drugs since it is not seen as profitable. All funds have to be raised privately to fund research for new medications. I am still very happy though that 4 girls in the 20-30 club were honored at the dinner!
