This weekend has been a whirlwind. I had two big events I was involved in to attend. The first I have been involved with planning for months - this year I was co-chair for the Viva Las Vegas event this past Saturday as part of the Valley of the Sun 20-30 club. We started in Nov. planning - I sure learned alot how to pull off a big event! There were over 500 people that attended, and thousands raised for valley children's charities . However, it was a ton of work to be there early in the morning, set up, wait for vendors, decorate, then get dressed and come right back. Since I was co-chair, I was running around all night making sure things were going smoothly. It is still lots of fun no matter what. Thanks to all that attended!
Just a quick update on the event - final counts are coming in, but it looks like over 600 attended and more than $50,000 was raised for Children's Charities! Making a difference in the world. You can also see more pics of the evening on Azcentral

The second event I had was A day at the Races for Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday. I went in with a few other honorees to have an event at Turf Paradise, Marc, Baron and Sarah. It was hard to get up this morning after a late night yesterday and being sore from lifting for set up yesterday! Today was easier to handle since there was not too much to set up. I actually won a quinella bet, and sat around eating with friends. All in all a really rewarding weekend helping others.
