Happy Festivus!

Tis the season for holiday parties – which have been taking up my weekends. It started earlier in the month with a holiday party with work friends. I ended up playing tag with kids in heels, I do not recommend it! I also had a brunch at the beautiful Scottsdale Resort and Conference center with the 20-30 girls. Then, it was on to another holiday tradition the Hanukah dinner. Thanks so much Laura and Eric! Yummy food. This past weekend, I went to another work get together and then I went to a party for Festivus. The games at the party were certainly unique. We had a feat of strength (which I almost beat out Ami!) and feeding bananas to monkeys. Don’t ask. I find that every party seems to have a white elephant gift exchange - which adds up when you have several to go to!

The biggest news of the season is what I got for a present to myself…...my new car! I finally gave in to give up my Rav and trade it in for the upgrade, a 4 runner. I had quite a bit of emotional attachment to my old car - just alot of fun memories with it but I had to finally get a new one. Just got it this week so I am still getting used to driving a bigger car. I am looking forward to lots of new adventures up north as it has 4 wheel drive. Fun times!
